Human body is made up of many parts and yet each work in unity and harmony. The church too comprises of many individuals coming from different backgrounds with different preferences, and values. Here at THE ROCKS we have common values that unite us together as a church.
We value being submissive to the head of THE ROCKS: Jesus Christ. This means that as a church we will not do anything contrary to the clear teaching of Jesus.
We value being a contemporary church that is solidly based on the Bible and yet culturally relevant. This can be seen in our worship style and in our preaching.
We value people who are searching for God. Because they matter to God and that's why they matter to us and that anyone can be transformed by the power of God’s Word.
We value acceptance. The church should not be an “exclusive club” for a few people but a place of love, acceptance, and forgiveness for all people.
We value giving and receiving encouragement. Care Group is the best place to promote community living and spiritual growth.
We value leaders. We believe that everyone has the potential to be used by God and to be a leader and we desire to get everyone to that point.
We value generosity. We believe in giving our best to God not only in terms of finance but in every aspect of our lives.
